BHT PICTURE GALLERY - Station Road Shops to 1939

No 11 Bath Cottage
No 11 Bath Cottage

Bath Cottage (not to be confused with Bath Cottages - the end of which just appears in the right of this picture) was still a cottage in this picture, it later became Ray Cook's fish and chip shop (and chimney sweep). It was demolished c.1930 and replaced by the purpose-built Westminster Bank, much further back from the road.

For subsequent changes on this site see Shops 1939-2000 where there might be some pictures, and Shops 21st Century where there certainly will be. Look for the same street number.
