Hudsons Furnishers and Undertakers occupied two shops - the nearer is now Gore Brothers funeral directors, the far one has been Iris Bedwell and Village Florist.
Ealey's Stores was a name used briefly in the mid-1960's for what was both before and afterwards Ideal Stores, a grocer. In the 1970's it became Jacques, a ladies hairdresser, and is now Guide Styles at Jacques.
Barrons shoe shop was demolished with the adjoining Central Garage in the 1980's. Brent House is now on the site, and Glenn Patrick estate agent is on the site of Barrons.
